More than 200 years in the making, walking Louisville’s historic Main Street is a short stroll spiced with slices of Louisville’s exciting heritage. This six-block area has the second largest concentration of cast iron buildings in the nation, after the SoHo District in New York City. Brochures are available at The Main Street Association’s Visitor & Information Center at 627 West Main Street. The Center’s wonderful volunteers provide information and guidence to visitors from all around the world! Fully guided historic tours are also available and can be tailored to a company’s or group’s needs and time constraints. Call (502) 561-3493 for details.
